Dr. Donald Murry DDS
Dr. Donald Murry is a graduate of Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his DDS degree and began practicing in the Richmond area in 1983 and has now been practicing for 25 years. Dr. Murry is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society and the Titanium Study Club. By attending continuing educations classes and seminars on a regular basis, Dr. Murry remains current on dental techniques, products, and information. His educational pursuits have centered on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He volunteers with the Give Kids a Smile Program at the local Boys and Girls Club and is involved in the local Powhatan Free Clinic. He is a caring and committed professional who is dedicated to providing his patients with expert dental care.
When not treating patients, Dr. Murry enjoys boating, football, baseball and spending time with his family at Smith Mountain Lake.

Dr. Todd Kuhn, DMD
Dr. Todd Kuhn graduated from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine in 2005 and has been with our practice since 2006. Before attending dental school he worked as a business consultant for four years in New York City. While in dental school, he enrolled in electives that furthered his education in anesthesia, implants, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kuhn is an active member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society, and the Titanium Study Club and participated in numerous continuing education programs with a focus on Implants and Endodontics. He volunteers with the Student Community Outreach Program, Mission of Mercy Program, and the Powhatan Free Clinic.
Dr. Kuhn’s wife, Amanda, is a pediatric dentist in the Richmond area and they have two daughters. When not treating patients, he enjoys golf, tennis, and soccer.

Dr. Don Murry III, DMD
Dr. Donald Murry III is a recent graduate of Case Western University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society. He brings to the practice knowledge of, and experience in the cutting edge technologies and techniques available in dentistry today. Dr. Murry has also undergone extensive training in the field of dental implants, both surgical and restorative. He enjoys working with children and has spent time working with the Give Kids a Smile program, the Free Clinics of Greater Cleveland, and the Powhatan Free Clinic. In his free time he enjoys running, playing golf, rooting on his beloved Virginia Cavaliers, and enjoying all that Richmond has to offer with his fiance, Jamie.

Staff

Brittany
Brittany is a full time dental assistant for our practice.  Having worked for Dr. Murry and Dr. Kuhn since 2006, she is a great asset to our practice, providing comfort and excellent dental skills to our patients. She is very talented working with children and teaching them great dental hygiene skills. Brittany resides in Powhatan with her family and loves to coach softball.

Ellen
Ellen is a dental assistant in our practice who works with all of the doctors and hygienists and is responsible for inventory control and in charge of our dental laboratory. She has worked in the dental field and our practice for 5 years. As a patient before joining our team, she has the best perspective on patient care.

Ellen currently resides in Prospect, Va with her husband and son.  She enjoys volunteering her time running rescue squad for Cumberland County.

Lisa
Lisa is a chairside dental assistant. She has been with the practice since 2003 and in the dental profession for over 12 years. Improving people’s smiles and providing excellent patient care is her top priority.

Lisa resides in Chesterfield County with her three young children. Her hobbies include reading, knitting, and spending lots of time with her children!

Patty
Patty is our office manager and has been with this practice for over 15 years. She is available to assist with any account or insurance issues. Her goal is to provide superb customer service to our patients while providing a friendly atmosphere for her employees.

As a resident of Powhatan, she enjoys the warm atmosphere of the close knit community. Patty is married with two grown children and loves to water ski, and spend weekends at Smith Mountain Lake.

Melanie
Melanie graduated Cum Laude from the Dental Hygiene Program at East Tennessee State University.  She married her college sweetheart and moved to Virginia in 1978.  She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association having served as a delegate representing Virginia on the national level, and is a past President of the Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association and the Greater Richmond DHA.  She enjoys volunteering in the public health arena.  Melanie's commitment to providing quality oral health care to all citizens of Virginia lead to the partnership formed between the VDHA and the Virginia Head Start Program.  In her free time, she enjoys visiting her family in Florida and spending time with her husband and two sons at their cottage near the Chesapeake Bay.

Jennifer
Jennifer is a patient coordinator for Murry and Kuhn Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.  She offers professional service to our patients concerning appointment scheduling, financing, and insurance issues.  Her great customer service and knowledgeable dental background is a great asset to our practice and our patients.

Jennifer resides in Powhatan on her family farm with her husband and young son.  She enjoys trips to the beach, country music, and spending time with family and friends as well as her Australian Shepherd-Merlin!

Lyndsey
Lyndsey works in our practice as a general dental assistant. She assists our hygienists and doctors and is especially talented with our pediatric patients. Lyndsey graduated from James Madison University and currently resides in Powhatan, Va. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, babysitting, and visiting friends in Boston.

Megean
Megean is a chair side dental assistant certified in anesthesia.  Her calm but confident demeanor is comforting to our patients and creates an enjoyable dental visit.  She is currently in school studying to become a dental hygienist.  In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering in the community, playing on the water, and spending time with her family..

Lisa
Lisa has worked in the dental field since 1997 and has both clinical and administrative experience. Currently, she is a patient coordinator in our Midlothian office, helping our patients with appointments, insurance claims, and finances. With her skills at the front desk, she is able to make the administrative side of a dental visit simple and organized. Lisa enjoys time with her husband, daughter, and church family. She is also a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys!

Toni
Toni has worked in dentistry for the past seven years in both the clinical and administrative fields.  At our Powhatan office, she assists patients with appointments, finances, and insurance issues. Should our patients have any questions or concerns with the financial portion of their dental visit, she is able to handle these issues in a professional, courteous manner. She loves outdoor activities and spending time with her two daughters, fiancé, and her two adorable Chihuahuas, Maggie and Chloie.

Mary
Mary has been a chair side dental assistant for 12 years.  Her goal is create a perfect smile for her patients while making them smile! Mary’s enthusiasm and outgoing personality make our patients feel as if they are part of our family.  She is very busy taking care of her two small children.  When she is not working at the Midlothian office, she loves art and crafts, trips to the park, and time with her family and friends.  She is currently studying to become a dental hygienist.

Suzette
Suzette has worked as a dental assistant since high school.   She was employed by MCV Dental School for 8 years as well as several other dental practices throughout her career.  Her years of experience bring a wealth of clinical skills to our dental practice. Patients love her and feel comfortable with her treatment and caring personality. Her hobbies include gourmet cooking, watercolor painting, and stained glass.  But, her favorite pastime is playing internet games!

Cindy
Cindy is a patient coordinator at the Midlothian office.  She enjoys working with the patients and her goal is to provide excellent customer service while assisting patients with scheduling appointment for treatment, managing the maze of insurance benefits and arranging financing. Her excellent customer service skills, and years of experience allow our patients to feel confident about the administrative side of their dental visit.  Cindy was an “Army Brat” and was born in Kansas, and lived in Japan and Germany.  She enjoys all types of sports and working in her yard, and most of all visiting her daughter in Hawaii!

Emily
Emily graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University Dental Hygiene Program in 2008. A former kindergarten teacher, she feels that her true calling is to educate patients of all ages on how to attain excellent dental care and overall health. Our patients are very comfortable with her gentle treatment and friendly manner. Emily is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and has taken part in the Give Kids a Smile program. In her time away from the office, she enjoys soccer, visiting with family, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Jennifer
Jennifer graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2005. In undergraduate school, she studied Mass Communications and spent several years working in the customer service and retail field. She is well qualified to provide excellent patient care and enjoys establishing professional relationships with her patients. Jennifer enjoys traveling, museums, photography, and snow skiing..
